The institute of chartered accountant of India has made the announcement regarding the extension of completion of orientation course and IT training on virtual mode till the date of 31 march 2021 instead of 31 December, 2020.
Institute has made the announcement on 10 December, 2020 considering the prevailing situation of COVID across the country, The institute has made announcement for extension of orientation course & IT training.
According to the curriculum of CA course each and every student has to pass through a compulsory trainings at both intermediate and final level. At intermediate level students who have attempted the examination of one or both group of intermediate become eligible for attending training. The students are required to complete both orientation training & IT training before joining to any CA firm for their practical training/ Articleship. This training are conducted at any branch of ICAI in any city, but due the prevailing situation of COVID and nation vide lockdown, institute has announced to conduct the training by virtual mode, through mobile phones or laptops.
The institute has once again made extension in the period for completion of orientation training & IT training considering the current situation of country and extended the date of completion of training for students who have attended the November 2020 exams and now joining the compulsory training to complete their training till 31 march, 2020 instead of 31 December,2020.
The institute has also stated that the such training will continue to be held by virtual mode and after 31 march,2020 considering the situation and guidelines issued by the competent authority decision will be taken to physically conduct of orientation training & IT training.
